Metro Atlanta Contemporary Quilters is a vibrant, no-gatekeeping, no-quilt-police community of creative makers. We embrace the full spectrum of quilting — modern, traditional, improv, experimental, artsy, scrappy, minimalist, maximalist, and everything in between.
Our members range from brand-new beginners to award-winning artists, and we love learning from each other. We believe quilting should be fun, expressive, and open to everyone.
Our guild was founded as the Atlanta Modern Quilt Guild in 2010, but is no longer formally affiliated with the Modern Quilt Guild, though we thoroughly embrace modern quilting.

Charity Quilts: We create heartfelt quilts donated to a North Georgia nonprofit supporting women who are survivors of sexual assault.
Inclusive. Casual. Friendly. Energetic. Creative.
A place to try new things. A place to be yourself.
A place where every quilter — yes, every quilter — belongs.
